Woodblock Figure Tapestries

Description: Under His Thumb "Under His Thumb" strips power down to scale — a lone figure standing on a rock, dwarfed by a thumb the size of the sky, marked with a red ink-seal stamp of authority. Inspired by East Asian woodblock aesthetics and ukiyo-e composition, this design turns political commentary into something quietly haunting rather than loud. It's not a crowd scene or a slogan — it's one person facing the full scale of unchecked power alone. Part of Puff Sumo's civic accountability series, for anyone drawn to minimalist, art-forward statements over shouted ones.

Description: No Swords for Flowers — Ukiyo-e Silhouette Peace Print You don’t need swords to cut flowers. A woodblock silhouette figure — hair swirling in kinetic wind energy — carries a quiet but razor-sharp message about force, diplomacy, and the futility of aggression. Rendered in the tradition of Japanese ukiyo-e printmaking, this bold ink-on-parchment design fuses East Asian fine art aesthetics with contemporary protest sensibility. For those who believe strength doesn’t require violence. For those watching the powerful reach for swords when flowers were always the answer. Anti-war art. Peace art. Japanese ink art for people paying attention.
