Wuthering Heights Tapestries
Description: "WUTHERING HEIGHTS". This retro design is based on the classic book by novelist Emily Brontë written in 1847. Novel set between 1770 and 1800 in York County (UK). Gothic and hard novel, very hard. With characters more arid, waste and desolate than the place itself. “I Love Books Collection” A retro design collection based on the universal classic books, more books in my profile.
Description: This is the famous scene in the classic book 'Wuthering Heights' by Emily Bronte when Cathy's ghost comes to the window begging to be let in. This is done mainly in pen but I added in a little pencil work to make the ghost look softer and less real and the snow is done in white goache paint. I have worked it up on yellow paper.

She was signed to EMI Records after David Gilmour of Pink Floyd helped produce a demo tape. In 1978, at the age of 19, she topped the UK singles chart for four weeks with her debut single "Wuthering Heights", becoming the first female artist to achieve a UK number one with a fully self-written song.
Description: This Wuthering Heights design features the quote “Whatever our souls are made of” above the title “Wuthering Heights.” The heart-shaped moorland scene, moon, branches, and wild grasses create a romantic gothic literary look. Ideal for fans of Emily Bronte, Heathcliff and Catherine, classic romance, and poetic book quote art.
Description: This Wuthering Heights design features Emily Bronte’s name, the title Wuthering, and the quote “I wish I were a girl again, half savage and hardy and free.” The subtle dark botanical artwork gives the quote a quiet gothic mood. Ideal for readers who love classic literature, wild heroines, moorland romance, and poetic bookish designs.
