Ratatosk is a squirrel, delivering messages from Nidhogg between the roots of Yggdrasil, to the Eagle who lives at the top of the tree. Between the Eagle’s eyes, sits Vedrfölnir the hawk.

Ratatoskr - Squirrel, who knows ALL about Yggdrasil - tree of life, at the top of which the Nameless Eagle lives and Wyrm Nidhoggr curled between the roots. Day and night, squirrel runs up and down to convey the curses that the eagle and the wyrm send to each other..
