Description: Ojizō-sama(お地蔵様), or simply Jizō, is a Zen statue and Buddhist deity in Japan, whose statues can be found throughout the country, such as forests, temples, roads and corners. Certain depictions of Jizō feature a red hood and a bib resembling that of a baby, which symbolises their role as guardians of infants from potential disasters.
