Dagobah was a remote, unexplored planet in the Dagobah system, and one of the purest places in the galaxy within the Force. A remote world of swamps and forests, it served as a refuge for Jedi Grand Master Yoda during his exile after the destruction of the Jedi Order. Luke Skywalker received advanced training in the ways of the Force under Jedi Master Yoda on Dagobah, and it was later the place of Yoda's death and transformation into the Force.

We were leaving Zion National Park in Utah, driving the Zion Park Blvd., through the remarkable landscape that exists there. I have to say that the wind, rain, and ice have had a most delightful time in fashioning the sedimentary sandstone rock in the east of the park. In this image, the layers have tilted this way and that and with their very rounded edges they have taken on the appearance of a precariously assembled pile of pancakes. Among all of this, trees have found places to root and thrive. Oh, the majesty of nature.

This is an image of the Virgin River, close to where it flows near the park lodge in Zion National Park, Utah. The mountain scenery in the park is vast and stunning, but a simple walk by the river reveals so much of that beauty. As in so much of Utah, the reddy-orange sandstone dominates the landscape, but to complete the primary colours, you also have the yellow-green of the trees and the deep blue of the sky. It was a lovely day for a walk.

Skyfall Lodge was a fictional mansion and landed estate in the Scottish Highlands. The estate was the ancestral home of the Bond family prior to the untimely demise of both Andrew and Monique Delacroix Bond; after which it fell into disuse. It was subsequently destroyed during an altercation with the terrorist, Raoul Silva. The site served as a central location for the eponymous 2012 James Bond film, Skyfall.

Zion Riverwalk Hike by Debra Martz This hike is a two mile round trip that follows the river. Where this hike ends, the Narrows hike begins. If you are willing to get your feet wet...and often deeper...you can continue if the weather permits. We hiked to where the Narrows begins but only imagined what it would be like to continue.
