They can fit a variety of sizes, from small street-side newspaper stands to large storefronts.The shutters are often ‘personalised’. They can be engraved, painted, written on and adorned with objects. The personalisations can have different purposes and communicate different values of the shop-owners. When the stores are closed, these personalised features all continue to reflect the store identity. These shutters adorned a shop in Sheung Wan district and Ive given them a pop art twist.
