Hetchins Curly Bicycle Tapestry

I painted this picture to celebrate one of the most distinctive frame builders in British cycling. Hetchins are renowned for their ornate lugwork and curly seat and chain stays. The image shows the Hetchins badge along with fancy graphics in the background and this particular bicycle is owned by a good cycling buddy. I have recreated it in fine detail emphasising the triple chainset, worn Brooks saddle and fantastic frame graphics. Crimson red, metallic gold and rich black colours are complemented by bold geometric shapes to produce a unique hand crafted image.
