Husted's Power Pack 1980 Tapestry

Russell Husted was an accomplished athlete, competing in multiple sports, though he was probably best known for his feats in weightlifting. Russ was a world record holder for a 555 lb. raw bench press, and held records for the lift in five different weight classes, in addition to being a champion powerlifter in bench press, squat, and the deadlift. He would go on to work as a teacher in Mt. Morris, New York, and would later get into coaching the school's weight lifters in 1980. This was when he developed Husted's Power Pack team, with whom he shared his personal proven powerlifting system, leading to the school's weightlifting team taking the state championships throughout the '80s.
