Black ocellaris clownfish illustration Tapestry

Black and white ink illustration of a black Ocellaris clownfish. Black ocellaris are a naturally ocuring morph of the ocellaris clownfish, they have the same classic clownfish stripes, but instead of orange they are black with white stripes. Ocellaris clownfish (Amphiprion ocellaris) or common clownfish are a small species of tropical marine fish found in ocean reefs. Many morphs of this species exist but the most commonly seen are a vibrant red orange with three vertical white stripes which are lined in black. Drawn using fine ink pens on Bristol board. This drawing is part of a collection of 11 clownfish illustrations, I am fascinated by the exotic clownfish morphs available in the aquarium trade and so wanted to draw some!
