A view from across the creek to the picturesque village of Bosham (pronounced 'Bozzam') in West Sussex. Seen here are the houses clustered round the harbour with the parish church of Holy Trinity in the background. The roadway round the harbour floods at each high tide - so visitors beware! The village and its church feature in the Bayeaux Tapestry which shows Harold Godwinson and his followers riding here befoe setting sail from the quay for his meeting with Duke William of Normandy in 1064.
