Cage Free Pillow

Cage Free speaks to my observance and experience of my Mother's small home town. Like most small town's in the USA, it has an overall zeitgeist; almost an entity within itself. Everyone wants to leave, but they stayed trapped. They're free, the cage door is open, it always has been. They can absquatulate, but do they dare? The Venus Fly Traps normal prey aren't humans, even though you're surrounded by predators, but they're intimidating, just like the evil people who surround them who think they're important within these small towns. So instead of leaving the cage, they stay trapped. Breaking their own heart, in a pool of their own heartache in a corner of a birdcage they can leave at any time.
