BT Tower - Hand Drawn Print Pillow

Here, London’s iconic space station Skylab 7 (I mean, the BT Tower) is captured as an axonometric projection. The tower was designed by the architects of the Ministry of Public Building and Works and is typically brutalist and utilitarian for its time, and emblematic of European TV Towers like Berlin’s TV Turm. The building is concrete structure clad in glass. The narrow cylindrical shape was chosen because of the requirements of the communications aerials: the building shifts no more than 25 centimetres in wind speeds of up to 150 km/h!
