On the second day of its life the Corpse Flower closes and then collapses on itself. By this time the smell has almost disappeared as it is too late for pollination to take place. This image was taken after dark. This flower was at the Bi-Centennial Conservatory at the Royal Adelaide Botanic Gardens. Canon 6D, zoom lens. (Featured in All Glorious Lilies.)
