American Babcia Pillows
Description: Politely declined: anything that goes against the house rules. Close the window, there's a draft. The tree is my own take on a leluja, the folk papercut from the Kurpie region of Poland: tulips on every branch, two birds and a flowerpot, all cut from one piece. Two colors, cobalt and cream. Its partner in the same line is Polish Princess. The version for dark garments is here: https://www.teepublic.com/t-shirt/99344852-too-slavic-for-that-polish-folk-papercut-tree

Description: In many Polish homes the Christmas Eve carp spent a few days in the bathtub, and everyone else showered at Babcia's. A clawfoot tub, a very calm carp and a tag that says 12/24. Part of my Polish family series, next to the Wigilia table plate. The version for light garments is here: https://www.teepublic.com/t-shirt/99347570-temporary-resident-christmas-carp-in-the-bathtub-l

Description: A folk papercut crown for every granddaughter Babcia ever spoiled. The word on top is ksiezniczka, Polish for princess, and the line at the bottom spells out how to say it: kshenzh-neech-kah. The crown is cut like a Polish wycinanka, with a tulip in the middle and no royal crosses. Two colors, cobalt and cream. Its partner in the same line is Too Slavic for That. Description: Sto lat means a hundred years, and Poles sing it at every birthday, whatever the age. A big 100 printed as a two-plate print poster in red and cobalt, with confetti from both plates. Sits with Babcia and Dziadek in the same Polish family line. The version for dark garments is here: https://www.teepublic.com/t-shirt/99347563-sto-lat-polish-birthday-song

Description: One pieróg drawn the way an engineer would draw it: a 90 mm round of dough folded once, an 18-fold crimp, a 10 mm seal band and a section through the middle showing 2 mm of dough on each side. With the notes that settle two arguments — pierogi is already plural, and ruskie was never Russian. Plate 04 of the Anatomy series.
