Astoria Oregon Pillows
Description: Lewis and Clark settled down in the winter of 1805 at Fort Clatsop which was located just to the southwest of modern-day Astoria. Rich in history Fort Clatsop commemorates the end of the Lewis & Clark trail. It is here that Astoria was born. Astoria was named after John Jacob Astor and his fur trading company founded fort Astoria in 1811. It however did not become its own city until 1876. This graphic design captures the iconic Astor column, which has 14 murals which capture the history of Astoria as well as the Astoria-Megler bridge.
