Description: After the Civil War, the U.S. government struggled to find a place for its Black troops in a smaller postwar Army. In 1866, the Army decided to form the 9th and 10th Cavalry and 24th and 25th Infantry Regiments to replace the U.S. Colored Troops. Black Americans, many Civil War Veterans and former slaves, signed up to join these regiments. At one point, these Black regiments comprised almost one fifth of the Army. Description: The battle was named for the two American Black Hawk helicopters shot down by Aideed's militiamen. The military operation to rescue the downed servicemen led to the death of 18 American troops, one Pakistani and one Malaysian soldier. The movie doesn't convey the magnitude of that fatality incident, the book is more real and veridic. This design is my humble tribute to all does heroes to risked their own life, and to all does who didn't make it back home.

Description: The first peacetime all-Black army regiment, which we honor on Buffalo Soldiers Day, July 28th each year, was formed mainly to keep order in the Wild West after the Civil War. In such a rough-and-tumble place, where unknown natural dangers and thieves abounded, the buffalo soldiers had extremely low desertion rates. Description: The 761st Tank Battalion was an separate tank battalion of the United States Army during World War II. The 761st was made up primarily of African-American soldiers,The 761st were known as the Black Panthers after their unit's distinctive insignia; their motto was "Come out fighting". The battalion received a Presidential Unit Citation for its actions.
