It is a painting of the only thatched-roof cottage in Carmel-by-the-Sea. It is the most photographed house in Carmel near Carmel Mission. The cottage is surrounded by gorgeous dahlias that the owner lovingly takes care of. Carmel is also known as a dog-friendly town.
