Description: An intimate 1897 Impressionist pastel painting on paper titled "Pattycake (Mother and Child)" by renowned American artist Mary Cassatt. This special archival reproduction intentionally preserves the authentic, natural aging and vintage wear along the bottom edge near the sleeve and elbow. Rather than over-restoring the image, these beautiful physical imperfections and original paper textures have been left intact, adding an undeniable antique charm, character, and historic soul to the print. The tender artwork beautifully portrays a mother in a voluminous teal dress cradling a curly-haired blonde toddler in a white gown as they share a playful game of patty-cake against a soft green backdrop.
