Description: First released in the '70s, General Mills' Monster Cereals were sold year-round, with Boo Berry -- the first ever blueberry-flavored cereal -- joining Count Chocula and Frankenberry in December of 1973. But while the originals were relatively easy to find, the Pete Lorre-voiced ghost achieved cult status with kids up until the 2000s, because he was much harder to find in supermarkets. In 2010, the entire line was pulled from shelves and became seasonal-only, ironically making Boo more readily available than he had been in decades.
Description: Fruit Brute was a Monster Cereal that debuted in 1974 and discontinued in 198, "The Howling Good Taste of Fruit." Director Quentin Tarantino brought it back to prominence when Eric Stoltz's character was seen eating it in PULP FICTION, and General Mills briefly brought it back in 2013. Distressed for an authentic vintage look.

In the commercials, the two monsters, Count Alfred Chocula and Franken Berry, would engage in comic bickering over which cereal was better, when something or someone else interfered in their verbal sparring and scared them out of their wits.
