St Peter Port, Guernsey Number of views as of 8th June 2017 = 430. St Peter Port (or St Pierre Port) is the capital of the Channel Island of Guernsey and is also the island's main port. Steep, narrow streets lead up from the busy harbour to the town that has existed here for at least 2000 years. Castle Cornet guards the entrance to the harbour where the ferries carry visitors from the English ports of Poole, Portsmouth and Weymouth, St Malo in France and the neighbouring islands of Jersey, Herm and Sark. Cannon and Balls Number of views as of 13th August 2018 = 790. Rousse Tower is on the north coast of Guernsey, the second largest of the Channel Islands. Fort Clonque is a 19-th century coastal fortress in Alderney, Channel Islands. Built at a time when French Naval power was becoming an increasing concern to the British. Built on a rocky outcrop joined to the island by a causeway.

Fort Hommet, Guernsey Number of views as of 25th February 2018 = 720. Fort Hommet can be found at the northern end of Vazon Bay on the west coast of Guernsey. Originally constructed during the Napoleonic Wars as one of a series of fortifications built to protect the island from invasion by France. *Shell Bay, Herm* Number of views as of 25th February 2018 = 500. Herm Island, just 1.5 miles long and less than half a mile wide, is one of the Channel Islands and is part of the Bailiwick of Guernsey. There are no cars on the island or bicycles, but quad bikes and tractors are permitted. Shell Bay, on the north-east tip of Herm is one of the Channel Islands most beautiful beaches. Herm is reached by boat from St Peter Port on Guernsey or from the island of Sark. Date: 23rd August 2014. Jethou Number of views as of 18th October 2018 = 560. Jethou is a small island of 44 acres in the Channel Islands, lying just to the south of Herm and due east of St Peter Port, the capital of Guernsey. From 1055 to 1414, Jethou was administered by the Abbots of Mont St Michel (Normandy, France) but in 1416, it became part of Henry the Fifth of England's estate. Jethou is part of the Bailiwick of Guernsey, so remains a Crown lease to this day.
