Description: Before the Texas War of Independance the troops of the dictator Santa Anna found out that the town of Gonzales had a cannon, an old piece that was only good for scaring off the Comanche and other raiders. They sent word that they would be sending troops to seize the "illegal weapon." When the soldiers arrived a flag flew over the town with a lone star, a cannon, and the words "Come And Take It." This design has been used to oppose government overreach ever since.
