Description: Battle Beasts are 2″ tall anthropomorphic animal action figures that originated in Japan in 1986 as 'Beastformers,' as an attempted spin-off of popular transforming robots at the time. When the line came to America, they were called Battle Beasts, to better reflect the 'rock, paper, scissors' game that could be played with them. These nicely detailed action figures were based on animals and equipped with body armor and a weapon. In addition, their chest armor included a heat sensitive sticker that would reveal one of three elements – fire, wood, or water. Later, an invincible symbol known as the Sunburst as be released, and became a true chase item, as having a Sunburst warrior amongst your Battle Beasts, you would never lose!
Description: Beginning in 1974, Power Records produced ‘Book & Record’ sets that included either a 7" 45 rpm record or a 12″ 33 rpm record and a comic book. The record followed along with the comic using sound effects, audio dialogue, and a backing soundtrack. Power Records’ Book & Record sets remain highly desirable collectables, not just due to their pop culture value, but because complete sets with both the record and comic are hard to come by, especially in good condition, as these were loved and well used by children over many years. Power continued to produce these sets until the early '80s.

Description: Phantom Lady debuted in *Police Comics #1* in 1941 as Sandra Knight, a U.S. Senator’s daughter who fought crime using a black light projector that made her invisible. She occasionally teamed up with her fiancé, a State Department agent. The character is a classic example of “good girl art,” known for depicting attractive women in provocative styles. Her revealing costume was later rationalized as a distraction tactic against male enemies. The design referenced comes from the surreal cover of *FFS issue #18*, released in June 1948.
Description: Fantastic Novels was an American science fiction and fantasy pulp magazine published by the Munsey Company of New York from 1940 to 1941, and again by Popular Publications, also of New York, from 1948 to 1951. It was a companion to Famous Fantastic Mysteries. Like that magazine, it mostly reprinted science fiction and fantasy classics from earlier decades, such as novels by A. Merritt, George Allan England, and Victor Rousseau, though it occasionally published reprints of more recent work, such as Earth's Last Citadel, by Henry Kuttner and C. L. Moore.
