Description: Operation Allies Refuge is an ongoing United States military operation to airlift selected at-risk Afghan civilians, particularly interpreters, U.S. embassy employees, and other prospective Special Immigrant Visa (SIV) applicants, from Afghanistan. U.S. personnel also assisted NATO and regional allies in their respective evacuation efforts at Kabul International Airport. The operation is concurrent with the larger American military withdrawal from Afghanistan and the evacuation of foreigners and vulnerable Afghans. The ANA Commando Brigade are part of the Afghan National Army and were formed from existing Infantry battalions. The program was established in early 2007 with the intent of taking one battalion from each of the ANA.

Description: Captain Midnight (later rebranded on TV as Jet Jackson, Flying Commando) is a U.S. adventure franchise originally broadcast as a radio serial in 1938. The title character, originally Captain Jim "Red" Albright, was a World War I U.S. Army pilot. His Captain Midnight code name was given by a general who sent him on a high-risk mission, from which he returned at the stroke of 12. Initially, Albright was a private aviator who helped people, but in 1940, an origin story explained how Albright was recruited to lead the Secret Squadron, an aviation-oriented paramilitary organization fighting sabotage and espionage. After the America's entry into WWII, the show shifted Secret Squadron's duties to fight the more unconventional aspects of the war.

The program was established in early 2007 with the intent of taking one conventional battalion from each of the ANA corps, giving them special training and equipment, and reorganizing based on a United States Army Rangers battalion.
