Description: Pangolins are an endangered species. The biggest threat is illegal, commercial hunting for human consumption. Their scales, blood and flesh considered a delicacy and mistakenly believed as a health benefit. Some are killed when caught and others left alive in cages until a costumer orders it. They hammer them unconscious and drain the blood. It's a slow death.
Description: Petroleum is not just used in cars. You can find it in basic everyday items like plastic, detergent, rubber, paint, pesticide, photographic film, makeup, candles and many types of medicine. Nonetheless, Petroleum is toxic and its extraction fuels climate change. We should use it wisely but still fight for renewable energies and alternatives to plastic. Now, alongside Petroleum extraction, cow farts have a big impact on our climate. This is yet another reason for us to make little changes in our lives. Changing our diet by reducing meat and dairy products would not only benefit our health but lessen our negative impact on our planet.
