Description: Chooks was originally a well known regional fast food brand named River Rooster. Operations began in Busselton and Margaret River in 1991. River Rooster stores were generally in areas that lacked popular fast food chains – namely Chicken Treat, Red Rooster or KFC. Around 2003, the River Rooster name was dropped. The company felt they were not generating new transactions due to the similarity in brands with other outlets. The company started a competition where customers could submit new names to them for consideration, after which the current Chooks Fresh & Tasty name was adopted. In October 2010, Chooks Fresh & Tasty was acquired by Quick Service Restaurant Holdings, which planned to rebrand the locations as Chicken Treat

Based on the Aussie Valiant ('A Body' platform - think Plymouth Valiant, Dodge Dart, Plymouth Duster), the Charger was a shorter-wheelbase derivative of the Valiant Sedan and Two Door Hardtop models. Styled by the late great Robert Hubbach (the styling designer of the Dodge Viper GTS Coupe), this car was a runaway success for Chrysler Australia in the early 1970s. Powered by the awesome 265 cubic inch Hemi straight six with over 300 horsepower, this machine was a formidable racecar both in Australia and New Zealand. Truly a piece of automotive art.

With a (semi) hemispherical head design, a bulletproof bottom end, triple side-draft carburettors, and performance camshaft and exhaust, this 265 cubic inch inline six produced over 300 horsepower from the factory! All housed in a truly beautiful body. A real work of art.
Description: 1966 Valiant VC rear end. Two VC Valiant V8 automatic sedans contested the 1966 Gallaher 500 endurance race at Mount Panorama, Bathurst, finishing first and second in Class D. They placed 10th and 11th outright, beaten only by the Morris Cooper S which filled the first nine places.
