Description: The Holden Sandman was a popular, customizable panel van and utility option package offered by Holden in Australia from 1974 to 1980. It gained popularity among young people, especially for its bright paint jobs, custom interiors, and V8 engine options. The Sandman was essentially a sporty version of the standard panel van, incorporating elements from the Monaro GTS, like bucket seats, a sports steering wheel, and rally wheels.
Description: The SS Group A SV was a race homologation special based on Holden’s VN Commodore SS, which was built at Elizabeth, South Australia but extensively modified by Holden Special Vehicles (HSV). It was powered by a 215 kW (288 hp) 4.9 L HEC 5000i V8 engine, which was mated to a six-speed ZF S6-40 manual transmission. The SS Group A SV existed primarily as a homologation special, created specifically so a racing optimised version of the Commodore could be utilised for Group A touring car motor racing. Description: The HT model replaced the popular HK Holden, carrying over the same body variants. Engine choices had some changes - six cylinder engines remained the same, but in the V8 option list was Holden's new 'home-grown' 308 cubic inch (5.0 litre) engine (and a smaller sister engine, 253 cubic inches (4.2 litre). The Chevrolet-sourced 307 cubic inch V8 was still offered, as well as 350 cubic inch (5.7 litre) engine replacing the 327 cubic inch V8. Some body modifications were changes to the rear quarter panels and rear window, as well as front grille and rear tail light changes. Manual transmissions gained synchromesh on first gear for six-cylinder Holdens.

The two six-cylinder engine options carried over from the previous model, but were increased in capacity - the 149 to 161 cubic inches, and the 179 to 186 cubic inches.

Based on the Aussie Valiant ('A Body' platform - think Plymouth Valiant, Dodge Dart, Plymouth Duster), the Charger was a shorter-wheelbase derivative of the Valiant Sedan and Two Door Hardtop models. Styled by the late great Robert Hubbach (the styling designer of the Dodge Viper GTS Coupe), this car was a runaway success for Chrysler Australia in the early 1970s. Powered by the awesome 265 cubic inch Hemi straight six with over 300 horsepower, this machine was a formidable racecar both in Australia and New Zealand. Truly a piece of automotive art.

Description: Statesman is an automotive marque created in 1971 by the Australian General Motors subsidiary, Holden. Statesman vehicles were sold through Holden dealerships, and were initially based on the mainstream Holden HQ station wagon platform, thereby providing more interior room and generally more luxurious features than their Holden-branded sedan siblings. Description: 1971-1976 Chrysler by Chrysler rear end. The Chrysler by Chrysler was the upmarket model for Chrysler Australia during these years. Based on the Valiant, it had a longer wheelbase and had all the fruit that you would expect from a luxo-barge of the time. Unlike the Valiant models, the C by C could be had with a two-barrel 360 cubic inch V8. There was also a coupe version based on the Valiant two door Hardtop. Ultra rare thee days...
