Erin Pillows

Cumann na mBan; literally "The Women's Council" but calling themselves The Irishwomen's Council in English), abbreviated C na mB, is an Irish republican women's paramilitary organisation formed in Dublin on 2 April 1914, merging with and dissolving Inghinidhe na hÉireann, and in 1916, it became an auxiliary of the Irish Volunteers. Although it was otherwise an independent organisation, its executive was subordinate to that of the Irish Volunteers, and later, the Irish Republican Army.

This piece was inspired by Ellen's saying "be kind to one another." A few years ago, I sent her a letter along with this piece asking if I could have tickets to her show for my mom who is a huge fan (even bigger than me, and that's saying something!). My mom has tried since the show began to get tickets with no luck. In exchange I offered Ellen a drawing every week for a year for giveaways or to sell for charity or whatever. It's too bad I never heard anything back from the Ellen show because it would have meant the world to my mom. Anywho, I present this piece to you now. Words to live by. :)
