Description: The Bread and Roses Strike of 1911 is an inspirational piece of labor history in the USA. The phrase "Bread and Roses" was used from the suffregette and labor movements of the early 1900's and represents the fight for not only enough compensation to survive on but also to have rest, recreation, and opportunities to grow in life.
