Learning that the Cherry 2000 model is no longer made, he hires tracker Edith Johnson to locate an exact duplicate of Cherry in the lawless region of Zone 7. During their journey, Treadwell realizes that the perfect woman is made not of computer chips and diodes, but of flesh and blood.
Description: Vortex was a steel roller coaster located at the KI amusement park in Mason, Ohio. Designed and manufactured by Arrow Dynamics at a cost of $4 million, the ride officially opened to the public on April 11, 1987. Vortex debuted as the tallest, full-circuit roller coaster in the world, with a height of 148 feet. It was also the first coaster to feature six inversions. Vortex occupied the same location in the park once held by The Bat, the world's first suspended roller coaster. Tied to the coaster's debut, attendance at KI exceeded 3 million in 1987 for the first time. It accommodated more than 46 million guests throughout its lifespan, making Vortex one of the most frequently-ridden attractions in park history before closing in 2019.
Description: Xenon is a sci-fi/cyberpunk themed pinball machine released in 1980 that marked a significant milestone in pinball technology and design. Advances in microchip technology provided new opportunities for sound design and effects, including what would become the first talking pinball table with a female voice. The seductive gynoid voice says things like "try Xeeeeenon" in attract mode, and responds to bumper hits with "oooh" and "aaah" moans during gameplay. Xenon's blue lighting gave the game a futuristic cyberpunk vibe.
