Just a few minutes up the road from the ferry terminal at Kangaroo Island, South Austrlaia is a beautiful lookout towards Penneshaw and just across the road was an even more beautiful lookout with hay bales and a view over the coast. A perfect stop just before jumping back on the ferry to Adelaide.

These hay bales are much larger than the smaller hay bales that can be collected from the field and stored in a barn. Do you have stories of haying season?
