This is a drawing of a 1920's Hurdy-gurdy after Pimpard. The rosehips, sunflower and other botanical images adorn the background and my inspiration came from the hedgerows of late summer from around my home.

These clogs are my own pair which I wear for step clogging. I drew them in my A5 sketch book using a range of pens and after scanning them I enhanced them with 3D Paint.

A pile of hurdy gurdies design inspired by a friend. Parts of the hurdy gurdy include wheel, strings, tangents, wheel cover and knob. The hurdy gurdy can be an excellent instrument to dance to along with the bagpipes.

This is a linocut of a concertina and reminds me of how much I love to play my concertina.

A red hurdy gurdy drawn in fineliner and then edited in 3D Paint. The design is based on a traditional lute back instrument and the insect designs are added for effect with the cockshafer beetle near the crank. This instrument creates a buzzing sound when played and the insects are added to reflect that idea.
