If you remember the 1980s and 90s on the Southside of Birmingham, Alabama, then you probably had a drink at Joe (Joe Bar). Or at least you should have. It was originally located in the studio arts building in Five Points South until it burned in 1986. Joe moved to the Lakeview District on 7th Avenue South and eventually a house on 29th Street South.
