We all have dreams. Some dreams are seen as aspirational. Reaching for the future. Going for amazing adventures! Curing mysterious diseases and making the world a better place. Or, you could tell bad jokes in a fake boat with fake animals 6 times an hour. That's a thing too.

I don't know about you, but the Jungle Cruise at Disneyland has always made me wonder... what do Hippos watch for Saturday Morning Cartoons? Wait, I'm the only one? Really? Well, enjoy this shirt anyway. (Our artwork is art by Skippers, for Skippers, and this artwork by the magical Richard Wallace. Richard is also the artist for the King of the Skippers card game.)

So, a few years ago, there was a Facebook thread among Jungle Cruise Skippers of multiple generations. The older Skippers were upset about the "feminization" of the Jungle. Skipper Richard Wallace has done some amazing art of female Skippers hanging out in the Jungle for one of our card games. I thought I'd give them some new life.

I've always wanted to do something with the "stuff" that would be generated if the Jungle Navigation Company had existed in real life. Cargo stamps would be a natural extension. These are for the most part based on real cargo stamps that would have been burned or inked onto the outside of crates as cargo was shipped. This is great as a shower curtain...

World Famous Jungle Cruis - Dark Green

We wanted to show that Jungle Cruise Skippers have a heart. I, for example, have multiple ones, in jars... under my bed. But, enough about my weekend hobbies. We know that the heart of a Skipper beats with pure passion, amazing adventure, and silky sarcasm.

To a Jungle Cruise Skipper, there's nothing like the feeling when you step into a bote. (Sure, some people call it a boat, but we know how to spell it.) It's a magical feeling, where you feel utterly comfortable to be yourself, and you know that you belong. In other words... home.

Who can forget Jungle Wars, Episode 4 (A Gnu Hope) and the valiant exploits of scoundrel Hippo Solo? For so long there was a controversy, but no matter how much the films are digitally altered, we all know that the Hippo shot first. (And that's why so many people seem to shoot at hippos, particularly Skippers on Disney's Jungle Cruise ride)

What sort of engine goes into a boat that is worthy of exploring the vast and untamed wilds of the Lands of Adventure? Why, a Miracle Boat Engine Company engine, of course. Known for its reliability and worthiness to handle even the worst of jokes, the Miracle is an amazing engine.

I don’t get the fascination with pirates. They were filthy, alcohol soaked, scurvy mouthed, bug ridden boat roaches. They didn’t have respect for a man’s property, respect for ladies, or even respect for basic hygiene. Yet, for some reason we idolize them, give them a theme park ride, and 5 movies. (one of which was good.) Give me a Jungle Skipper any day of the week… (As you may have noticed, much of our work revolves around Disneyland’s Jungle Cruise Skipper culture. We host a podcast devoted to the subject, and these items are independent homages to the Golden Era of Adventure that the stories from the ride take place in.)

Who doesn't want to be reminded of the World Famous Jungle Cruise every time they sit down on their couch? These pillows can help make that a reality for you.

This is a reprint of a design we did for our 2016 Kickstarter campaign, and a few people have asked for it to be available again. Proudly proclaim that you are going to live life like it was a ride... a theme park ride... with fake animals. But one that you are going to conquer with style, panache, and a snappy hat. (As you may have noticed, much of our work revolves around Disneyland’s Jungle Cruise Skipper culture. We host a podcast devoted to the subject, and these items are independent homages to the Golden Era of Adventure that the stories from the ride take place in.)

Not only is Bertha the most famous elephant in the Indian Elephant Bathing Pool, she is also skilled in her after hours activities. After years of bringing the beats to the Jungle Pool Party, she is now doing sets at a local night club, Sam’s Place. She’s definitely the only DJ who ever scratches the vinyl with their nose.

The boats of the Jungle Cruise use a signalling system involving shots on their .38 special pistols. 3 shots means your boat cannot proceed, and serves as a warning to those before and after you. Sometimes we have those moments in our lives. We can’t move forward or back. We’re stuck, where we are. The moments set in. The panic. The fear of being stuck in a boat (metaphorically) with 48 people staring at you for what seems like an hour. We all have felt the way we feel when a boat goes 3 Shot… But just keep calm. Let everyone know what is going on. That you’re all right. And just Three Shot…

Now, I don't know much about animals... Ok, I know nearly nothing about animals. But when I go to the zoo, there's one thing I do know. They call these ones, "Stripey Horseys"... (This shirt is in homage to the Jungle Cruise's very famous Stripey Horseys, who have been hanging out on the Veldt for a very long time... and yet few Skippers seem to be able to figure out what they really are...)

Inspiration Falls has inspired me to go... and make this design. Featuring subtle elements from the ride.
