Knotwork Pillows
Description: The Norse/Germanic god of thunder, Thor was one of the most popular deities in the Medieval world. His popularity continues to the present day. In fact, you may even say that Thor is seeing a resurgence of popularity, and not just because of the Marvel movies that portray him as a sort of awkward frat boy from outer space. TV shows such as the Vikings, Game of Thrones, The Last Kingdom, etc. have stirred an interest in Thor and the other gods of old. So most people are now familiar with Thor and his mighty hammer that he uses to smash frost giants back to the icy depths from whence they came. However, not everyone knows that Thor's hammer has a name, Mjölnir (pronounced: myol-neer), and that the image of Mjölnir was worn as a pen...

Description: Celtic Knot Irish Abstract Tribal design. The interlocking Celtic Knots design started in Britain in the Middle ages. The intricate designs are also referred to as "Mystic" or "Endless" knots because they symbolize infinite life. When a design such as this one has three points, it can symbolize mind, body and spirit. Another interpretation of the three points is the Father, Son and Holy Ghost. In any case, enjoy these timeless designs and be part of history.
Description: Jörmungand (pronounced YOUR-man-gand), or Jörmungandr in Old Norse is the "Midgard (Earth) Serpent". He is a tremendous snake whose body is so long that it stretches around the Earth completely! Jörmungandr lurks beneath the waters of Midgard where Norse hero Thor is in constant pursuit of this slippery beast. The poetic Eddas of Norse mythology describe a variety of encounters between Thor and Jörmungandr with Jörmungandr always narrowly escaping Thor's wrath. Finally, in the events of Ragnarok, Thor and Jörmungandr have their final battle! Thor finally kills the phantom creature! However, the monster's deadly breath poisons Thor, and he staggers nine paces before falling over, dead. This artwork is Neo-Nordic, meaning it ha...
Description: Gothic inspired Claddagh. The Claddagh is a traditional European Ring with a symbolic design which represents Love (Heart), Loyalty (Crown), and Friendship (Hands). The skeletal hands lend a non-traditional twist and I’d like to think represent “Friendship for Eternity.” The Claddagh has become an iconic symbol of Irish identity. With a Horror twist.
Description: Celtic Knot Abstract Cross Tribal Design T-Shirt This Celtic art design features a Celtic Cross. Do you see it? The designs will reveal new shape combinations each time you look at it. Endlessly mesmerizing and enlightening. This is a great gift for art lovers and puzzle lovers.
Description: The Skuld's Net, which is also known as the Web of Wyrd, represents how the Norns (the three women that controlled destiny in Norse Mythology) weaved the fate of humans and gods. Its interconnected threads show us how our past and present actions influence our future. This symbol also contains the shape of all runes, which were used as a form of divination in the past.
Description: A celtic knot, based on the triquetra, representing the honey bee. Done with a metallic or glass-like effect, and in gold, somewhat reminiscent of honey. This work is aimed at encouraging bee consciousness and nature preservation, with the pun on 'be' as 'bee' for a bit of fun wordplay. Bees, as most of us are aware, are in decline and our natural world is in danger of collapse should their numbers diminish further. These busy little insects play a vital role in maintaining natural order, and without them all life on earth would suffer the consequences. Wear this shirt with pride and help raise awareness of their plight, and ours.
