Macho King Pillows
Description: Replica of Randy Savage's hand-made ring gear from his days in International Championship Wrestling (ICW), run by his father, Angelo Poffo, in Lexington, Kentucky from 1978 until 1984, where he honed the persona that would become beloved to WWF fans. To help ICW gain traction, he would challenge Memphis stars in other federations like Bill Dundee, Austin Idol, and Jerry Lawler to face him at Lexington’s Rupp Arena. Then when they didn’t show, Savage would erupt in a manic promo spot, verbally destroying them, a character like no other. To help solidify his reputation as an absolute nut, he once entered a Lexington grocery store and stuffed raw meat down his pants, which lead to his arrest. The legend of crazy Randy Savage was born.
