Navigation Pillows
Description: India Navigation was an American record company and independent record label that specialized in avant-garde jazz in the 1970s and 1980s. Its catalogue included Arthur Blythe, Pharoah Sanders, Hamiet Bluiett, Chico Freeman, Cecil McBee, and the Revolutionary Ensemble. In addition to this, some recordings of minimal music, such as Arnold Dreyblatt, Phill Niblock and Joseph Celli, or Tom Johnson, also appeared.

Description: This fascinating design centers on the star-nosed mole, one of nature’s most extraordinary creatures, known for its highly specialized sensory organ. Its distinctive star-shaped nose, made up of sensitive tentacles, allows it to navigate complete darkness with unmatched precision. In this artwork, the mole becomes a symbol of perception beyond sight—an embodiment of adaptation in environments where vision fails. The intricate, radial design mirrors neural pathways and sensory mapping, emphasizing how the mole interprets the world through touch. Each branch-like extension suggests a network of information, transforming the creature into a living compass beneath the surface.
