Nichnytsia Pillows

Description: Some things visit only at night. In Ukrainian and broader Slavic folklore, the Nichnytsia is a sinister night spirit associated with darkness, restless sleep, nightmares, and troubling those who lie sleeping. This vintage folk-horror design imagines the Nichnytsia emerging from the darkness above an isolated mountain cottage—an enormous spectral figure beneath the full moon, surrounded by deep forest, distant peaks, and traditional Ukrainian-inspired ornament. Rendered in the weathered style of an old folklore print, Some Things Visit Only at Night is for lovers of Ukrainian folklore, Slavic mythology, folk horror, supernatural legends, dark fantasy, and the unsettling stories once told after the lamps went out.
