Characteristics such as the shape of the hand, lines, intersecting lines, mounds and more are interpreted. The heart, head, and life line are often given the most weight by Palmists. Generally Palmists read the persons dominant hand, which is considered to represent the conscious mind, while the other hand is considered to represent the subconscious mind.
