Description: Don’t walk the fields at noon. In Ukrainian and Slavic folklore, Poludnytsia—Lady Midday—is a mysterious field spirit associated with harvest fields and the dangers of the blazing midday sun. This vintage folk-horror design imagines her standing silently among the wheat beneath an enormous white sun. Crowned with wheat and poppies and dressed in an embroidered blouse, she carries a sickle at her side, waiting for anyone who stays in the fields too long. Unlike spirits that haunt forests and darkness, Lady Midday needs no night. Inspired by Ukrainian folklore, Slavic mythology, harvest legends, and old-world folk horror.
