In 2018, the Pride flag saw another variation in its design known as the Progress Pride Flag, created by Daniel Quasar to be more inclusive. Overlaying the traditional six-striped rainbow flag is a chevron design that has the black and brown stripes from the Philly Pride flag, as well as white, pink, and blue from the Trans Pride flag.*
Description: The Progress Pride Flag adds five hearts to the six-coloured Rainbow Flag, which is widely recognized as the symbol of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community. The flag includes black and brown hearts to represent marginalized LGBT communities of color, along with the colors pink,light blue and white, which are used on the Transgender Pride Flag.
