Description: I have been practicing hand lettering techniques so I can move away from digital fonts. For this design, I drew each letter individually using the brush tool in Photoshop. Description: Psalm 8:9 highlights the greatness and majesty of God. I have been practicing hand lettering, as I desire to move away from use of digital fonts. For this design, I used to pen tool in Photoshop to create each letter. The straight edged serif letters contrast nicely with the flowing script style of the word "Majesty". Description: I have designed a number of variations using the text of Psalm 8:9. This one features a shorter version of the text: "How majestic is your name". I hand lettered the text using the pen tool in Photoshop. I paired the straight edged serif text with the flowing brush script of the word "Majestic" in order to create contrast. I painted the text with warm earth tones which contrast with the cool bluish background. I designed the background using the polygon tool in Photoshop.
