Description: Super Science Stories was an American pulp science fiction magazine published by Popular Publications from 1940 to 1943, and again from 1949 to 1951. Popular launched it under their Fictioneers imprint, which they used for magazines, paying writers less than one cent per word. Frederik Pohl was hired in late 1939, at 19 years old, to edit the magazine; he also edited Astonishing Stories, a companion science fiction publication. Pohl left in mid-1941 and Super Science Stories was given to Alden H. Norton to edit; a few months later Norton rehired Pohl as an assistant. Popular gave Pohl a very low budget, so most manuscripts submitted to Super Science Stories had already been rejected by the higher-paying magazines.
Description: TV Girls and Gags turns a tense barroom exchange into a cheeky retro cartoon. A patron leans toward the bartender while a stern man grips his hat nearby, framed by pink lettering, teal panels and orange counters. These products are Premium quality pieces from Dashery powered by Teepublic, bringing bold contours and saturated inks to sturdy cotton T-Shirts, soft fleece Hoodies and durable vinyl Stickers. The punchline about spelling for a fight gives this vintage comic scene its sly bite.
Description: Is she weird? Is she white? Is she promised to the night? This bold and bizarre pop collage pays homage to the offbeat lyrics and haunting surrealism of The Pixies, especially the cult-classic track “Is She Weird”. A chaotic blend of vintage ad aesthetics, screaming drama queens, and cryptic characters creates a layered piece of pop art that’s both ironic and disturbingly fun. Perfect for fans of alternative rock, retro kitsch, experimental design, and anyone who thrives on being a little strange.

Description: Under a blazing cemetery moon, a blue-black-haired vampiress in a violet corset and turquoise scaled stockings lunges toward a terrified man in a bloodstained white shirt, a wooden stake jutting from his chest. Behind them, a decaying ghoul rises among crooked gravestones and iron gates. Jagged “AAAGGG!” lettering and a sharp “CLACK!” punctuate the scene, while saturated inks, heavy contours, crosshatching and electric pulp colors recreate a lurid vintage horror comic.
