Description: Falconberg Court was one of London's lesser-known but important gay residential communities, located just off Earl's Court Road in West London. During the 1970s, 80s and 90s, Earl's Court was often referred to as London's "gay village," attracting LGBTQ+ people from across the UK and beyond. The flats at Falconberg Court became home to many members of the gay community, offering not just accommodation but a sense of belonging during a time when acceptance was far from guaranteed. Its location placed residents within walking distance of some of London's most iconic gay pubs, clubs and social venues, making it a small but memorable part of the area's rich LGBTQ+ history.
