Description: "Ziveli, ali u otmenom drustvu :)" “Ebi ga” is a legendary quote from the Yugoslav comedy series Žikina Dinastija (“Žika’s Dynasty”). In one scene, a German woman named Elza moves to Belgrade for love and keeps hearing people say “ebi ga” on the streets. Curious, she asks her boyfriend Žika — a charming but mischievous Yugoslav — what it means. Not wanting to admit it’s basically the local version of “ah, f*ck it,” Žika awkwardly tells her it’s “something people say in elegant circles… like cheers.” And that’s where the disaster begins. Later, during a classy dinner with sophisticated family friends, Elza happily raises her glass and proudly says: “Ebi ga!", while everyone at the table nearly dies inside. Pure comedy!
