This is a great depiction of West Virginia. Deer almost everywhere (especially in your headlights at night, use extreme caution while driving!), Blackwater Falls, Seneca Rocks and the New River Gorge bridge are only a few of wonderful things she has to offer. It truly is...almost heaven.

You would think after I have spent 5 weeks traveling through Prague (Czech Republic) and France (Paris, Normandy and Brittany) I would post images from that part of the planet! Nope. I am so far behind on my images it's not even funny. Watkins Glen State Park is located outside the village of Watkins Glen, south of Seneca Lake in Schuyler County in New York's Finger Lakes region. The park has an area of about 778 acres with a 400 foot deep narrow gorge that cuts through the rock by Glen Creek. During the Ice Age, glaciers deepened the Seneca Valley and increased the tributary stream gradient to create rapids and waterfalls wherever there were layers of hard rock. This is one section of the park and this is what it looks like...
