Street style mini cooper drift machine

Founded in 1964 in Columbus, Ohio, Nationwise was a chain of auto parts stores in the United States. In 1974, Nationwise partnered with Columbus-based engine builders, The Rod Shop, sponsoring a series of highly successful drag racecars. In stores, a Rod Shop section was created as kind of a speed shop inside of a parts store. In addition to go fast goodies from all the big names, Nationwise also sold Rod Shop branded performance parts. These parts were typically embossed with NRS (Nationwise Rod Shop), making them easy to identify by collectors, even decades later. The Rod Shop partnership ended in 1987, and less than a decade later, Nationwise became insolvent, and closed all stores on Sunday, October 15, 1995 at 3:00 PM.

By 1958 header builder Sandy Belond had assembled a small team and was selling his headers through more than 2,000 dealers and his business was hugely successful. Sandy sold the business to A-P Industries, better known as Appliance Plating, and by 1960 they had rebranded Belond Headers as Appliance. Appliance couldn't figure out how to run the business, so they hired Sandy to run it and he did so until his passing in 1988. Appliance-made headers continued to leverage Sandy's basic designs, but added their own bright white ceramic coating which in most cases, lasted longer than the engines they were bolted to which is no small feat for a coating on one of the hottest parts of a car.

Perfect Products began forming fiberglass hoods, scoops, and body panels in the early '60s as a white label supplier to other companies. By the late '60s, they had had started advertising direct sales in the various hot rod and drag racing magazines, selling via mail order though their catalog. The Holiday International Casino (1977-1987) was an old school hotel and casino located at 300 North Main Street in Las Vegas Nevada. The addresses of 200 N Main Street and 300 N Main Street have occupied a few casinos over the past 40 years. It is one of the areas of Downtown Las Vegas that has a lot of history to it. What started this location’s casino history was the Holiday International Casino back in 1978 when it opened to the general public. It would be the first of three resorts at that location that is part of Fremont Street.

Double Dragon II: The Revenge is a side-scrolling beat 'em up video game produced by Technōs Japan. Originally released as a coin-operated arcade game in 1988, it is the first sequel to Double Dragon, released the previous year. The sequel involves Billy and Jimmy Lee in a mission to avenge Billy's girlfriend Marian after she is shot to death by the Black Warriors leader, Willy, who is retaliating against the Lee brothers after his defeat at the end of the previous game. Double Dragon II was initially developed as an upgrade kit for the original Double Dragon, but evolved into a stand-alone game due to an increase in memory size, resulting in the developers reusing assets for both games.

music evolution

When it comes to old school speed shops, Detroit definitely had more than their share. Of course, that isn't surprising seeing as the city has long been home to the American auto industry, and is known as the 'Motor City' as a result. Custom Speed Enterprises (CSE) is one such shop, and was one of the city's longest running providers of go fast goodies. Unlike some others, the shop was a windowless space, so it was rather dark throughout, and kinda creepy by most recollections. Housekeeping wasn't exactly their forte, as just about everything was covered in dust, but their inventory was second to none, and could be counted on to have whatever you needed in stock.

The Party Machine with Nia Peeples is a half-hour late-night American musical variety show that aired in syndication for one season in 1991. The show was hosted by Nia Peeples and executive produced by Arsenio Hall.

The Fremont Hotel is located on 200 Fremont Street. It was designed by architect Wayne McAllister and opened on May 18, 1956, as the tallest building in the state of Nevada. The casino is located on what is commonly referred to as the four corners. These are the four main hotels that are located on the corner of Casino Center Boulevard and Fremont Street. The four casinos making up the four corners are The Fremont, the Four Queens, the Golden Nugget, and Binion's Gambling Hall and Hotel.

John Bandimere, Sr. built his first race car in 1937, an old coupe running a flathead V8, which he raced in the Pikes Peak Hill Climb to a ninth place finish. Always known as an innovator, Bandimere went on to become a nationally known expert on supercharging, and began manufacturing and selling speed parts as Bandimere Auto Parts in Denver, Colorado. In 1958, Bandimere purchased land just west of Denver, where he and his family began constructing a drag strip that was to be used to augment their auto parts business. That small drag strip on the hill would become Bandimere Speedway, or as many call it, Thunder Mountain. The drag strip would grow and eventually eclipse the speed shop, with Bandimere focusing on its operation full time.
