I love this piece, two people, sharing the eye line, overlapping. Don't they look like they were meant to be intertwined? I often wonder how to explain how collage is unique to other forms of art and I think this sums it up - it's endless. There's very little parameters in terms of what you can't do - you don't need an art background, technical skills, or spending hours layering images on top of each other sketching them out. It's to me, the most democratic form of art I can imagine.

One of my favorite collages, re-imagining Themis, or how I imagine Justice would look personified. I included Versace's golden medusa's mostly because given how she was raped on Athena's temple and then punished with her look as we know it, she represents those of us deserving of justice & compassion.

Just a portrait of a man ft. a woman. What's gender anyway, really? But also - I really love how this came together without a face, and with the really beautiful nail art. Nothing in this image originally was in the same picture but some how - they all come together.

A piece made for a decolonial exhibit. Colonization is a hoax within a hoax within a hoax... a house of cards where the lies, justifications, propaganda are lies layered on lies. The truth of it? We're made of gold.

A work I made summing up representation, freedom and agency. All foundational freedoms currently being systematically stripped away.

A giant triptych work I made for an exhibit on decolonizing historical museums, taking 36 works of classical art with the objects of colonization removed: textile, fiber, pigments dyes, motifs, plants, herbs, flowers, trees, medicines, silhouettes, minerals, jewels, labour, cosmetics.

I made this from a handful of portraits, all sliced and diced and then re-applied on top of each other. I love how it turned out. She's multifaceted, and it's a love letter to black women and that includes trans women.
