Description: I am reminded of the 1960s when I look at this. That’s my time travel. Who wouldn’t want to see Jefferson Airplane and The Four Tops live and in the same concert believe it or not, which I did, in the Houston Colosseum in 1969. (The merging of acid rock and Motown!) The sixties were a wild time. Anyway, your time travel might be something entirely different - in the future perhaps. It’s all up to you. Mandalas are sometimes mind-altering miracle workers depending on your intention. Enjoy!
Description: This mandala grew out of the previous one. Then it produced an abundance of blooms as noted in the next mandala. I imagined mermaids underwater feasting at a beautiful table becoming fully satiated. So that’s what the intention was behind this mandala - to bring you abundance until you experience the same!
Description: This "abundance" mandala evolved from the last two showing the many blooms in process. Zooming out and looking at it from a distance it is easy to imagine it as part of a never-ended rotating wheel or “lazy susan” from which all can dine and become fully satiated because the magic wheel never runs out!

Description: I came across this older mandala in my library and was just pulled to it because of it’s beautiful contrasting colors if you look just beyond the curves. The light blue is the shallow and the dark blue is the deep. The red and other colors take you wherever you desire. Swim free!

Description: Bio: Luke Gray is a surrealist/symbolist illustrator and painter. Born color blind he was forced to use an almost exclusively black and white colour palette, working with patterns and textures rather than color. Influenced by multicultural art techniques he works in traditional mediums of Graphite and Ink often combining and integrating techniques and patterns from different countries and cultures into his work.
Description: Hevajra appears on this 15th-century tangka in his three-headed and four-armed form. This manifestation is drawn from the Hevajra Tantra, a text revered by the Sakya order of Tibetan Buddhism, who likely commissioned this painting from a Newari artist from Nepal. Hevajra and his consort Nairatmya dance at the intersection of four vajra gateways, indicating their position at the center of the cosmos. His name is composed of two syllables: “he,” compassion, representing the male aspect, and “vajra,” wisdom, the female aspect, which together offer the path beyond this illusory world. The repeating skull symbolism references the impermanence of all phenomena.
