The Seer Pillows
Description: The Blind Seer was one of NYC's oldest continuously operating family businesses in Chinatown. Operating across multiple generations of the Zhou family, from 1883 until 1992, the curio shop and fortune-teller business was a favorite of locals and tourists alike, but a combination of rising rents and a lack of interest from the next generation meant the end for this Lower Manhattan landmark. Thankfully, they made it through the '70s, which gave us a killer souvenir t-shirt that is now back to live another life.
Description: Alexander the Man Who Knows, was an American spiritual author, vaudeville magician who specialized in mentalism and psychic reading acts, dressed in Oriental style robes and a feathered turban, and often used a crystal ball as a prop. In addition to performing, he also worked privately for clients, giving readings. He was the author of several pitch books, New Thought pamphlets, and psychology books, as well as texts for stage performers. His stage name was "Alexander," and as an author he wrote under the name "C. Alexander."

Description: This design features a mysterious creature of my own invention: Seer Sheep. These three eyed, purple sheep are able to predict the weather sometimes weeks in advance, but their visions cause them a peculiar side effect. Once they slip into a clairvoyant vision, they begin to float like fluffy purple balloons, which means any caring seer sheep farmer needs to tether them to the ground if he doesn't want his flock floating away into the sky. But desipite their short comings, their soft wool is perfect for spinning into yarn, and their milk produces the most delicious purple cheese.
