The Ancient Greek aphorism "know thyself” is one of the Delphic maxims and was the first of three maxims inscribed in the pronaos (forecourt) of the Temple of Apollo at Delphi according to the Greek writer Pausanias. In Latin the phrase, "know thyself," is given as “nosce te ipsum” or “temet nosce”.
Description: The Delphic maxim on the Temple of Apollo quoted to us for prosperity first by Heraclitus, then reinterpreted later by Plato and then made into an (anti)religion by Aleister Crowley. Here in the style of Crowley, with Greek keys in a box, in a circle, and the Eye of Ra below the text. I made this design for my personal use (as a picture on my shelf) but then decided to put it on a tee because I do what I wilt.
